*SQUEAKS!* that's such a huge compliment thank you! :D I love me some good indie games. My boyfriend and I are doing PAX East this year and our favorite place to go is the Indie Megabooth. So so many good games to discover and the lines are way shorter than for all the triple-A devs. Plus we can chat with the devs right there and it's so much fun! If I discover anything new there, I'll be sure to let you know :D

Off the top of my head, some of my faves from last year were Oxenfree, Moonlighter, and Sundered. Especially Oxenfree. I played that twice and watched three separate streamers play it. Such a damn good game. And while not a short game by any means, I highly highly highly recommend Divinity: Original Sin 2. You don't need to play the first one to play this one. The writing is A+, the music is amazing, the turn-based tactical combat is so much fun (there's a huge emphasis on spell effects, so you can cast a lightning spell where there's water and everyone in the water will get zapped or you can cast a rainstorm and it will put out fires and cause smoke to block line of sight). Everyone I know is big on Pillars of Eternity and I'm just shrieking into the void forever about Divinity.
