XII!Cid is amazing and so under appreciated. Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who totally sees that connection with Vayne and Cid so A+ to that. And semi-relevant, I remember a few years ago during some Camp NaNo chat, I had mentioned I was working on a FFXII fic (it was that Fran/Penelo one I did) and some person in the chat went off on this tangent about the "obvious" sexual tension between Balthier and Cid and I was like........ wat. I guess things like that are up to interpretation, but yeah, not what I took away from the game.

Also A+ Transistor mention. I always love the Camerata for a million different reasons, that being one of them. Royce mentions he's known Grant for half of his life, Grant and Asher are married, and while there's no explicit canon mention of Sybil's interactions with the other members explicitly, I like to think she gets along with them extremely well too (Royce and Sybil having a bickering, yet loving sibling-like relationship gives me life). We need more connections like that in narratives.
