My family has done summers in Ocean City forever. It is rather homogenous (less so than it used to be), but I have such wonderful memories of the place and love going back there even as an adult. (There's no alcohol sold or served on the island, although you can bring your own in, and it's a safe enough place that my parents used to let me and my cousin roam the Boardwalk in our early teens without direct adult supervision as long as we stuck together.)

The seafood sounds amazing. I miss good Atlantic seafood.
