This is an interesting perspective to me, in large part because semi-anonymity is reflexive at this point (people I trust can find me, or could ask and I'd answer, but I still politely ask RL friends to use my online name if referring to me in an online space where those who aren't our meatspace friend group can see.....yeah, that got complicated fast.
On the other hand, my real-life job has policies that say that if you embarrass the company you're out on your ass, so I tend to keep that gulf even wider.
