I Have a Thing for Princesses

Laura Heikkala, an artist I adore, recently put out a new sketch zine, so I ordered a copy and she drew something for me. She posted a collection of sketches on her Tumblr, and guess which one is mine?



Oh I love them so much.

While I was in Los Angeles, I may have also come into possession of Disney artist Aron Shay's watercolor painting of Peach that was on exhibit at the Super Mario Tribute Show at the Q Pop Shop gallery. (I wasn't cool enough to be there, but money talks.)

Sometimes I wonder if I'm getting too old for Nintendo games, like maybe I'm desperately grasping out for a past that's getting farther and farther away, but then I realize that I don't give a shit. I'm an adult and I do what I want.
