Majora's Mask 3DS, Part Three
Jul. 17th, 2015 09:09 am* Got all the heart containers
* Got all the items and upgrades
* Got all the masks
* Beat the game
* Cried
I'm not sure what to say about this game. It hurt my heart.
The last time I played Majora's Mask, Operation Moonfall was in full swing. I guess the message finally got through to Nintendo (this is not actually what happened), thank goodness. The 3DS release is gorgeous.
It seems they've posted a series of short essays about the game on Zelda Dungeon. I'm looking forward to reading them over the next few days. I hope they're not too pretentious.
After the joy that was Majora's Mask, I'm not super excited about returning to Skyward Sword, but it has to be done. There's a definite (but probably unintentional) skill component to the game controls, and if I don't go back to it now I'm afraid I'll lose whatever small measure of proficiency I've managed to develop. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'm only looking at another ten hours, but we'll see. Skyward Sword drags on and on and on...
