Friday Night in the House of Terrible Decisions

I have decided, just for one night, not to be so hung up on my "persona" as a fan and to just be a total dork all over the internet, reblogging fic and leaving comments left right and center. I have a tendency to get weird feedback on my feedback, which has led me to labor over every comment as if I were going to submit it to the New Yorker.

Tonight I am going to try to break out of my self-consciousness. Tonight I have a date with the internet, and between us we are going to split the three bottles of wine I picked up on the way home from work. Tonight there will be red hearts and kudos as far as the eye can see.

Expressing sincere appreciation is not creepy. Leaving comments is part of the functioning of an almost classically modeled gift economy. This is about giving back to a really cool community of people.
