Hatoful Boyfriend, Part Two
Dec. 14th, 2015 10:28 amPigeons romanced last night:
* the library boy
* the stuck-up rich kid
Notes:
I'm having trouble understanding these two relationships as pure romance; both of them make more sense as strong friendships. If the boys' emotional wellbeing is based on whether or not this girl bestows or withholds her love, that's kind of creepy. If, however, they both find the courage to confront truths about themselves through the encouragement and support of a friend, then that's actually touching. In order to romance the library boy, however, the girl can't have any other friends her own age. I think that's fucked up, but I can understand the appeal of the fantasy of isolating yourself so much that you begin to see things other people don't.
Pigeons to romance tonight:
* the stuck-up rich kid's brother
* (the bad ending)
