"I think you should consider exercising."

- every doctor, to me, regarding issues ranging from a severe sinus infection to a request for birth control

"Yeah, I, uh, tried that."

- me, sitting there in a muscle shirt and cargo shorts with lumberjack shoulders and runner's calves

"But your records say that you weigh [more than 120 pounds]. I think that might be affecting your health."

- a fellow human being who has apparently gone through medical school
