Sometimes you read a book that makes you wonder why you waste your time writing stupid garbage when there are writers with actual talent out there in the world. I'm trying not to feel that way about Gideon the Ninth, but it's hard. Honestly, if the book weren't specifically tailored to me and my interests I would probably resent the crap out of it.
