Digital Fantasy Diary
Mar. 17th, 2021 01:11 pmI'm attempting to rebrand myself as more of a creative writer, so I changed the URL of my personal website from my name to "Digital Fantasy Diary."
I also added a page titled "Creative Work," which lists all of my nonacademic publications:

Considering that I only started doing this six months ago, that's a tidy bit of work.
I put this page together to psych myself up for the next round of original fiction and artwork submissions, which I should be able to wrap up by the end of this week. After that, I want to set a concrete schedule for posting a few nonfiction essays on Medium as a way to build a portfolio.
Idk, I keep thinking about Anne Helen Peterson and her glorious transition away from an academic career, and what keeps jumping into my mind is how cool it would be to work for Buzzfeed.
