Billionaries Should Not Exist

When I say that I hate capitalism, this is what I'm talking about.

I'm not angry at people for wanting money or buying things or starting businesses or owning their own homes or having an iPad or whatever; I'm angry at a larger system of political policies that benefits the ultra-wealthy while exhausting and dehumanizing everyone else.

To give a personal example, I paid off all of my debt at the beginning of 2020 as I was preparing to leave my former job, and I finished paying my car loan earlier this summer. This resulted in the credit limit on my cards being decreased, which in turn resulted in a substantially lower credit score. What this means is that, by borrowing money responsibly and paying off loans ahead of time (which benefits creditors btw, as inflation often outpaces interest), I will potentially have to pay more at a higher interest rate if I take out a loan in the future because our economy is set up to function only if the majority of us are permanently in debt. I don't understand how this works at a macro level, but damn it looks kind of unnecessary and absurd from where I'm standing.

Anyway, fuck commercial space travel, and fuck these asshole billionaires for taking something so cool and making it so cringe.
