Someone recommended these art tutorials to me, so I tried one of them. It's not great. It's just an MS Word document with shitty MS Word formatting saved as a PDF. The artist will be like, "Don't draw a weak fist, this is what a fist looks like," and then there will be two pages of reference photos copied and pasted into the document with - again - shitty MS Word formatting.
It seems like everyone loved this guy (this is a sweet article about him), but maybe his skill as a teacher was connected to his personality. I never met him, and I'm not familiar with his work, so I'm not getting much out of these tutorials.
Ah well. The quest continues.
