As absolutely filthy my mind is, I've found myself struggling with writing smut in general lately, especially when a dick is involved. Like, can't they just snuggle? Maybe make each other breakfast in bed? My Press Start assignment veered in a direction where sex was a natural part of the plot and I remedied this by just having one of them hump the other's leg instead of whipping out a dick. I dunno if it's the pandemic or my ass getting older, but yeah. I feel ya. And I hope the NSFW chapters go smoothly.
Honestly, I've seen a lot of people post original work to AO3 and have decent results. Off the top of my head, Mayakern has an ongoing queer smutty fantasy romance novel and felt it was the best place to showcase it. Then again, she has a sizeable following with her art, so I imagine that helps funnel in readers. I think if you have people who are into your writing - *points at self* - there's a good chance they're open to an original piece.
