I get that some people are tired of their good faith being abused and being slapped by micro (or macro) aggressions all the time, but it really feels to me like a lot of people will just go full aggro on strangers in part because they're strangers and therefore "safe" to attack (insofar as there's less/no emotional risk to your existing connections and you can vent anything you've swallowed from those you love on this other person.) It....doesn't make for a good environment for anyone, in my opinion. But that's worth what you paid for it.
