People's differing experiences with moving are so interesting, aren't they? Unpacking has always been the soothing part for me: I get to make beautiful order out of chaos and all the things expand into their right spaces, as opposed to making everything shrink down into the Wrong Shapes so they Fit In Boxes and all the walls are wrong and I'm crying because my home feels like a prison now.
It's easier to write every day the more of your like....daily life fatigue can be outsourced, I think. Whether that's in the form of hiring a cleaning service, doing a meal delivery thing, trading off with a partner so each of you only has to Do Stuff on certain days.....but at the end of the day that all boils down to either money or a specific kind of understanding with your partner, and that can apparently be hard to find.
