It is!! I've read it once a year since it came out, and I am eternally grateful that Siliva Moreno-Garcia wrote that book with the audience of me specifically in mind. There is nothing I love more in this world than mushroom horror, except maybe charming but horrible beast husbands. And lo and behold, Mexican Gothic has both! ALSO THE COVER. Good times, good times.
