It's embarrassing to admit this, but I get the feeling that almost everyone who submitted to the anthology was accepted. Ditto for Myth & Lore magazine in general.
I'm given to understand that this is how publishing used to work until fairly recently. If you weren't a completely unhinged individual, and if you weren't writing completely incomprehensible garbage, there was a good chance that your work would be accepted if you submitted it to the right venue. Unfortunately, the competition to be published has gone completely off the charts these days. The only way I've been able to publish anywhere is because I was occasionally able to sneak into underappreciated venues before they were bombarded by submissions.
