I'm sorry to hear that. For me at least, I'm not sure that anything I've learned is going to help me deal with my family in any tangible way, but understanding what's going on with them does make me feel slightly less crazy.
It's weird, you know? On one hand, I feel like it's not good to be so disconnected from popular culture. On the other hand, I find the experience of scrolling through TikTok to be deeply upsetting, and everything I've learned about influencers like Andrew Tate has been largely against my will.
