It's difficult to say for sure, but I think I like this game. If nothing else, my crush on Aerith continues to grow with each passing day. I'd like to write two short fics:
For the Future
In which Aerith and Tifa plant radishes and discuss whatever the hell is going on with Cloud.
This story is set at the ruined ferry station before the party crosses the Southern Swamp via chocobo, and Aerith and Tifa’s conversation contains my own speculation that Tifa cares for Cloud but is also more than a little afraid of him. Aerith has experience dealing with difficult personalities, and she shares some solid life advice with Tifa. Also they kiss.
Guerilla Gardening with Aerith Gainsborough
In which Aerith engages in gentle ecoterrorism by seedbombing Midgar's upper plate.
This story is set on the border between Sector Zero and Sector One prior to the events of the first game. It's going to contain actual practical seedbombing advice from me the author, who lives in the Sector Philadelphia Slums. At the end of her "mission," Aerith is confronted by a professional botanist working for Shinra, but she'll stand up for herself and put the corporate stooge in her place. While flirting aggresively.
