I think work ethic and technical skill will "create" a level of talent all by themselves, and if you have a really good [part A] then parts B and C can be serviceable and the whole thing will still feel good, you know? As an example, I am garbage at describing locations and things that are going on, but I'm pretty good at dialogue, and I can sometimes use the latter to cover the former.
