Absolutely! The older I get, and the more removed from teenage anime-style protagonists I get, the more I appreciate how chill and good-natured Sabin is.
Also I love it when you go to Sabin's house for the first time and Edgar is all, "This is the tea he likes! These are the flowers he likes! These are the dishes he likes!" The dude apparently enjoys the finer things in life, and I can get totally behind that.
