Be Brave! Face Life!!
Oct. 4th, 2017 09:18 amI've been having a lot of panic attacks lately. Creating work I enjoy is a lot of fun, but my experience of fandom is awful. So I am going to set some guidelines!
This is what I will not do:
- Feel like I'm not producing anything because my fic posts don't get notes.
- Feel like I'm not producing anything because my art posts don't get notes.
- Stress out about how I feel like I've been shut out of my fandom.
- Worry that I'm lazy for not doing Inktober this year.
This is what I will do:
- Keep posting a new chapter every one or two weeks! That's a lot of writing!
- Respond to the lovely comments people leave on my fic!
- Try to leave at least one kudo on other people's fic every day!
- Keep drawing! Try new things! Be ambitious!
- Keep up the good work! Posting a new piece every week is a great pace!
My fandom community is garbage, so I need to believe in my own damn self... And also maybe find a doctor who I can convince to give me some pills, because oh my goodness these panic attacks are not fun.
