That Website Is Broke
Oct. 14th, 2019 10:22 amIf Tumblr ever decides to fix itself, one thing I'd like to request is the ability to mute people without having to unfollow them. There are people who I like a lot and whose blogs I enjoy scrolling through, but sometimes they go through periods of reblogging countless dozens of posts a day and I just can't keep up with them.
I also wish that Tumblr's blacklisting feature worked better, by which I mean that I wish the site would actually hide posts with tags I've blacklisted instead of graying them out and putting the tag right in the middle of the otherwise empty space.
While I'm making requests, I'd also like Tumblr to hide any post that originates from the blog of someone I've blocked regardless of who reblogs it. I understand that alt right and TERF blogs post a lot of catchy memes with no overt messaging, but I'd still prefer not to see them if I can help it.
Both Twitter and Instagram can do this, so it shouldn't be too difficult?
