2023 Writing Log, Part 38
Oct. 21st, 2023 07:49 am- I finished “Love in the Time of Gloom Spawn,” my story about Calip and Tauro in Tears of the Kingdom. I decided to put a hard 4k word limit on this story, and I ended up cutting out large chunks of my outline, especially toward the end. So much the better, honestly.
- I created a writing portfolio page, which I’m hosting on my website (here). I did my best with the story graphics. All things considered, I think it looks okay.
- Speaking of graphics, I got started on the slideshow for my Casa Con panel about “Apocalyptic Fantasies and Environmental Anxieties in Video Games.” I’m planning on there being one slide per minute, with the presentation portion of my panel being about 45 minutes long. I’m only ten slides in at the moment, but I still have more than a month to prepare.
- Can I offer you a nice doodle of a Korok in this trying time?
