2023 Writing Log, Part 40
Nov. 3rd, 2023 11:27 am- I completed a full scene-by-scene outline of An Unfound Door, an original gothic mystery novel. Last year, I got about halfway through in terms of writing and editing chapters, meaning that I have a polished first half of a novel. Now I have to write the second half, which is easier said than done.
- I posted my story about Calip and Tauro in Tears of the Kingdom, “Love in the Time of Gloom Spawn,” on AO3 (here). It features a fantastic illustration by Martina Belli, which I’ve previewed on Tumblr (here).
- I had the pleasure of contributing to a roundtable list of cozy horror games, which you can check out on Sidequest (here).
- I’m preparing to table at a small zine event at Tattooed Mom on South Street next weekend. I posted a copy of the promo poster on Instagram (here).
Other than that, I’m falling behind on real-life work while slowly losing the will to live, but what can you do. I hope everyone reading this is doing okay and hanging in there.
