Not much to report this week. I had a small (and hopefully invisible) breakdown when I read about a deeply disturbing bit of world news, so I’ve been trying to stay offline. In the meantime, I’ve been enjoying the nice fall weather while taking the puppy on long walks.
Also, I finally got around to watching The Boy and the Heron. It’s not a perfect movie by any means, but it refilled at least half of my mental health meter. I’m grateful that Hayao Miyazaki is still out in the world living his best life and making gorgeously weird movies.
