I love Through the Woods, Emily Carroll's collection of short horror comics, and I just discovered this multi-part frontier gothic horror comic on her website. It is perfect.
This is exactly the sort of work I want to create, and when I think about how Emily Carroll is roughly my age it makes me want to cry.
