rynlingI have to admit that I’m not a huge fan of Animal Crossing. The franchise is more or less Doing Chores: The Game, which is not always something I need in my life. I’m in a weird liminal place right now, though, and I would appreciate some structure. I therefore predownloaded the game onto my Nintendo Switch Lite, which is about to become my Officially Designated Animal Crossing Delivery Vehicle.
What this means is that Evoland 2 has until March 20 to convince me it’s worth finishing.
It’s not a bad game, to be honest. My only problem with Evoland 2 is that, while it features a wealth of interesting concepts, it takes each of them at least one step too far. There's nothing really wrong with this, but my attention span is extremely limited these days.
Speaking of which, I’m still taking Kentucky Route Zero ten minutes at a time. Sometimes it's a pleasure, and sometimes it’s a chore. If I’m not done by the time the Final Fantasy VII remake comes out, I’m probably going to put it down and walk away.
