Wow, I um. I do not like this game.

Act V (which functions as something like an epilogue) was deeply offensive to me. I'm conflicted about this, because the earlier bits of the game showed such incredible promise.

I feel shitty about launching a sustained critique of a game that was obviously made with love by a small team; but, on the other hand, I don't think one rando picking apart the game on their personal blog is going to stand against multiple Google pages of big-name reviewers saying that this is the most important game of the decade.

So I do want to get into this, but it's going to be a project. Maybe I'll start with what bothered me about Act V and work my way backwards.

I made a point of waiting until the entire game was released before I looked into this one. I don't think I'll play it but I would definitely read your take on it.

I have to admit that it's been a lot more satisfying for me to read about the game than to actually play it. If I could go back in time, the one thing I would tell my past self is to wait until it goes on sale. No major paradoxes would be created, and I would have been marginally less frustrated with the world during the past week or two.

I know we're friends and everything, but if you were to set up a Ko-fi I would totally dump fistfuls of money into it for this. I have never considered commissioning fic before, but listen.

Sometimes you desperately need fictional characters to be happy.

I've legit read this comment at least 20 times and I just blush and grin every time 💕 you're such a gem of a supporter and one day I'm going to hug you so much you're going to need a crow bar to pry me away.
