Changing My Name

Step One: Get my last paycheck from my current employer and move to Philadelphia

Step Two: Figure out how to change my legal name and get all the documents together

Step Three: Wait for quarantine to be lifted

Step Four: File whatever forms need to be filed

Step Five: Get my shiny new name on a shiny new Pennsylvania driver's license

Step Six: Get my shiny new name on a shiny new passport

Step Seven: Change my name on one banking and credit card account at a time

Step Eight: Change my name on one social media profile at a time

Step Nine: Change my name on PayPal

This is sort of a joke about how the hardest thing about being transgender/nonbinary is changing your name on PayPal, but it's also a reminder to myself that not everything needs to be done all at once.

Nothing but the best of luck with this. This more or less mirrors my own process once I finally dive into it (hopefully - work is becoming less and less promising for coming out).
