Now I'm sort of wondering if there's a Discord server for West Philly. I think it might be... interesting.

There used to be a popular oldschool bulletin board style message forum when I lived here in grad school, but it apparently got shut down because of people being gay and doing crimes. I feel like there's probably a story behind that, but I wouldn't know who to ask. I'm interested in writing about this neighborhood, and that's something to keep in mind for the (fingers crossed) aftertimes, I think.

I feel as though I clipped the top of a deep iceberg, and I'm relieved to have been able to sail away safely. I sort of want to know the story behind what actually happened here... but also I really don't.
