Digital Decluttering

This past week I did two public events (via YouTube) that I've been dreading for the past month. Somehow I made it through okay, but it was intense. There was a lot of prepwork involved, and these two projects have dominated my life for the last three weeks. I'm afraid I let a lot of other things slide, unfortunately.
I couldn't allow myself to worry about other deadlines until these projects were wrapped up, but now I have to worry. I have three important deadlines tomorrow, on January 31, and... I'm a little fucked.
Instead of jumping right into the work I need to do, I procrastinated by spending an hour deleting things from Gmail and Google Drive. It made me feel better, to be honest. Like, just look at all this shit I don't have to worry about anymore! Amazing!!
I guess the thing about time is that it passes whether you want it to or not, and probably most people aren't going to remember anything you did even two or three years ago. And that's not such a bad thing to be aware of, especially when you feel intense pressure about upcoming deadlines.
