I finished Malice!

Which is to say that the last two chapters are completed and have currently been through two sets of edits. I'm going to wait a few more days to let them sit before I edit them again... maybe. I'd really like to be done with this.

In the meantime, I'm re-editing the chapters in the final story arc, posting them on FFN, and organizing the story tags on AO3. I've also been working on a graphic to put on Tumblr and Twitter, but maybe it's not worth finishing. Like, maybe I don't want to draw attention to myself, or maybe I don't want to face the (very real) possibility of not getting attention at all. Idk idk idk.

For the time being, I'm just happy that I will never have to type the words "Ganondorf's cock" ever again in my life.

It's awful to say, but as happy as I am to have written that story, I'm also happy to walk away and never look back.

I think this story is a classic case of wanting to read something without actually having to write it. Like, I want to read a novel-length treatment of this idea, but I'm not sure I want to spend two years writing it.

...I'm guessing that I'm not the only person to have had this problem lol.

You definitely are not the only person to feel that way. There are a lot of days I feel like that about my giant FF4 fic. And there are so many things on my to-be-written list that are really on my "I want to read this" list.
