An Unfound Door

I finished and polished the first two chapters of An Unfound Door, and I've got a rough draft of the third. These three chapters total about 9k words, which is a solid beginning. I'm just about the slowest writer in the world, so this is a tidy accomplishment for me.
I also have the two character illustrations!

These are drawn by Lalou, and you can find them on the artist's Tumblr (here). Lalou creates such amazing illustrations, and it's an incredible privilege to have been able to work with them.

I'm not saying I'll ever get anything published, or that anyone will read my work even if it is published, but I fanticize about saying on Twitter, "Yes, they're all gay, every single one of them." And every artist I've worked with will reply to the tweet to confirm, saying, "Yes, very gay, I was there."
