rynlingI'm actually very intrigued by the concept of Paranormal Investigator Barret Wallace. Maybe he can be friends with Paranormal Investigator Marie Kondo.
One day I will write this story, I swear. Absolutely no editor in their right mind will buy such a thing, but it will still spark... not joy, exactly. But something. Dark glee, maybe.
The more immediate story idea I got from Dream Daddy is the concept of a light romance between a staunchly middle-class handyman wizard named Martin and a fancy orb-pondering court mage named Anórien the Silver. Anórien has decided to set up a secret workshop in a quiet neighborhood, and he meets Martin when it turns out that his magical laboratory has garbage plumbing.
Idk if it's a good idea. Maybe I'll just write it and see where it goes.
