Announcing the Standard Comic Script (SCS) from Steenz & Camilla Zhang

Camilla and Steenz worked with a variety of other industry professionals, including David F. Walker, Whitney Leopard, and Ngozi Ukazu in order to synthesize scripting techniques into a template that can provide a common foundation and open the door for more effective communication in the comics creative process.
The template is available here:

It's wild that I only learned about this on Twitter through some unpleasant discourse in which older men were bitching about how this isn't how they write comics. Which is all well and good for them, but the template itself is actually very chill and intuitive.
For the past two weeks I've been obsessing over an idea for a four-panel comic that I don't have the artistic skill to draw myself, and I think I might use this template to write a script to send to an artist who (maybe?) might be in a sweet spot between projects at the moment.
Then again, my comic idea isn't that complicated. What I think I might do instead is go ahead and paste my very simple script into an email, and then reverse engineer it into the template from the completed comic to see how it works.
