2022 Writing Log 17

rynling- I finished editing Chapter 10 of The Demon King.
- I also finished writing Chapter 9 and Chapter 11.
- I drew a comic illustration of pre-apocalyptic Ananth, which I posted (here).
- I wrote a blog post about my process of creating this illustration, which I posted (here).
- I was so in love with the Zelda that Doc Hollibee on Twitter drew for me (here) that I asked her to draw Ceres from The Demon King, and I posted her illustration along with a bit of character background and worldbuilding (here).
In other news, while I’ve been obsessing about this stupid fantasy story, I’ve gotten behind on all of my real-life deadlines. (This short comic) about daydreaming plots for fictional characters is feeling uncomfortably relatable to me right now. Then again, writing a novel is an infamously selfish and self-indulgent activity, so what can you do.
