2022 Writing Log 30
Sep. 3rd, 2022 07:50 am- I edited Chapter One of An Unfound Door. Then I edited it again.
- I edited Chapter Two of An Unfound Door. Then I edited it again.
- I wrote and edited summaries for these two chapters.
- I also created preview graphics, as well as tweets to go with them.
- I finished the last part of my dystopian Legend of Zelda comic, A Legend of Shadows, and posted it on Tumblr (here). I also posted a textless version of the final panel with a brief bit of commentary (here).
- I created an original design for the character Serret from A Wizard of Earthsea and posted it on Tumblr (here). This is meant to pair with my design for the character Tenar from The Tombs of Atuan, which I posted (here) about two weeks ago.
- Fright, a classic movie horror zine, has opened preorders. The tweet with the link to Bigcartel is (here). I contributed a story called “The Girl in the Screen at the End of the World,” which is about Sadako from Ringu picking off the last humans to survive the collapse of society.
I have weird feelings about all of this, but they’re not worth discussing. There’s no need to feel shame over adding art to the world.
