- I finished, edited, and posted the final chapter of the Breath of the Wild Coffeeshop AU. It’s on AO3 (here). This isn’t the best story that’s ever been posted on AO3, but I enjoyed writing it. I’m actually kind of surprised that I managed to finish it so quickly.
- I returned to the Breath of the Wild Classical Mythology AU. I decided to edit it from the beginning, and I ended up getting sucked into the story. Imagine my surprise to find that this is exactly the sort of thing I enjoy reading. It’s unfortunate that I have no idea how to end it.
- I applied to join the Hyrule Fashion Anthology zine (here on Carrd) as a writer. I think my chances of being able to participate in this zine are slim, but I still enjoyed coming up with pitches for nonfiction essays. Regardless of whether I can contribute to the zine, I’d love to write these essays… so I think I will.
- This is a bit embarrassing, but I wrote a one-page resumé for the first time in my life. I have a CV, of course, but that’s a beast of an altogether different color. My goal is to apply to a position as a reviewer at Publishers Weekly. I’m very nervous about this, so I’m taking it very slowly.
- I drew a Modern AU Ganondorf and posted it on Tumblr (here). There’s not much to say about this save that I really enjoy drawing suits.
It’s been a rough week, so I started a new game in Elden Ring. This character is both stronger and more attractive than my previous character. I named him King Spinach.

Date: 2023-02-03 06:28 pm (UTC)It's not so much an "application" as it is "write to their email address and pitch yourself as a reviewer," which I appreciate. submitting an application is scary, but I can handle email. I hope. Maybe next month.
Anyway, I have made a note to myself to change King Spinach's name to Mighty King Spinach. Thank you so much for that A++ suggestion, I appreciate you.
