I wrote 158 words yesterday! Whooo!
They were shit words! I may delete all but ten of them!
Maybe I'll make it up to 200 words today!
That's like a net count of 52 words! Yes!
Maybe I'll get rid of some words in that other chapter!
Fucking, kill all the words! Words are stupid!
True communication is impossible!
And we all die alone!

I'm averaging about 300 words a day on the Zelda fic I'm working on right now, which somehow managed to turn itself into a novel against my will. Ever since I started this project back in May, every month has novel writing month.
It's fucking exhausting. I have no idea how people write novels for a living. Do they also, like, fight evil by moonlight? Because you're right, this business takes superhuman abilities.

Date: 2015-11-11 04:18 am (UTC)300 words a day is awesome! I wish I could write that much on a regular basis. I think in the long run it's better to have a manageable wordcount each day so you don't burn yourself out and give up. After NaNo I didn't write anything for MONTHS.
