Why do all of my characters look so tired

rynlingI love words, but I'm a visually oriented person at heart. I’ve never been able to get a handle on the character Fhiad from An Unfound Door, partially because I have no idea what he looks like.
So I got an opportunity to work with Samijen, who very patiently listened to my ideas and did this initial face sketch for me:
And yes! This is perfect. I know Sami is infinitely more than “a Final Fantasy XIV fan artist,” but Final Fantasy XIV fan artists are really and truly out there in the world doing the Lord’s work.
Sami has been amazing to work with, by the way, and she still has commission slots open. I feel like the opportunity to work with such a high-profile, talented, and professional artist for an affordable price doesn’t come around very often, so I’d definitely recommend checking out her commission info (here) if you’re interested.
