#Plantmom is a botanical horror comic written by Ashley Robin Franklin that takes place entirely on Instagram.
I found this while doing research on horror comics yesterday. It's free to read, brilliantly drawn, and very creepy. It's also very relatable to me at the moment. Given everything that's going on in the world right now, I think it's important (for me) to remember that feeling pressured to perform your personal life and political views for social media isn't healthy.
...putting allegories about bad-faith actors aside, though, I aspire to the be the "Seed." account with zero followers and an uncanny photo grid of cursed plants. As far as life goals go, it's definitely attainable.
