Speaking of Inside and eldritch horrorterrors, I recently saw that Soma is on supersale in the PlayStation store. I'm vaguely curious about Soma, but also sort of not. Based on what I've read, the central question of the game's story seems to be whether someone is still "human" if they don't have a 100% normatively human body.
Like, does someone deserve to live if they have a disability? Yes. Next question.
Okay, does someone deserve to be treated as human if they're an AI created from a brainscan? Yes, of course they do. 13 Sentinels addressed this question quite well, and Soma isn't as pretty as 13 Sentinels.
Still, for $5, I might just go ahead and download Soma and come back to it over the summer.
