They’re functionally literally the same thing as the spam bots social media platforms have chased out for years. Why would you actively worsen your platform in such a way? What’s the point even?

I'm sure this is fine. I'm sure nothing bad will happen.

Thank you! Since the middle of December, I've have three browser tabs permanently open on my phone, and they're all for Tumblr blogs that only post nice photos of animals and nature. I take my mental health where I can get it these days.

I think that's a good habit for us all to get into. I'm working on training myself not to open the news app on my phone as much, and to train it to give me sports news when I do. It's an imperfect solution, but it's what I've got.
