So I guess that technically makes me a three-times Eisner award winning comics writer. "Technically" is doing a lot of work there, but still. That's really cool.
A handful of the graphic novels I reviewed won Eisners as well, so it's nice to know that I have good taste, but what makes me even happier was to see some of the smaller publications I reviewed get nominated in the first place. Even if the indie stuff doesn't win, it's amazing to see it appear on the same shortlist as giant, high-profile books. All my love goes to the queer artists out there in the world making weird art.
