Doodle 4 Doodle 2025 Letter
Oct. 21st, 2025 10:27 amDear artist,
Thank you so much for offering to doodle something for me! My interests are a bit of a mixed bag in that I love cute characters, as well as attractive and stylish characters, but I’m also a fan of dark and gothic designs. I appreciate environmental art and concept art, and I can’t get enough of plants, wildlife, lush green spaces, and ruins covered in moss.
Whether you draw a character, a creature, or a place, I’m sure you’ll create something fantastic.
I am totally okay with:
- AUs and original designs
- personal headcanons
- monochromatic ink art
- screenshots or photos used as backgrounds
- no background at all
- elements of horror, from strong to mild
- realistic versions of cute characters
- cute versions of realistic characters
- human designs for non-human characters
I’d prefer not to see:
Overtly sexualized images of young children or childlike characters.
This is difficult to qualify, so please use your best judgment. I (respectfully) don’t care about discourse regarding whether a character is considered a minor; I’m only talking about little kids here.
That being said:
If you want to draw a sexy korok (or whatever), I can imagine that would be highly amusing.
Extreme piercings or body modifications.
This is also difficult to qualify; but, when I say I enjoy “gothic art,” I’m talking about atmospheric horror, not about the punk subculture. Everything is good in moderation, but I’m not looking for a reimagining of a character with, for example, a split tongue and a dozen facial piercings.
That being said:
Trans characters are perfectly fine of course.
Specific to Legend of Zelda characters:
I’m kind of squicked out by grotesquely large elf ears on human characters. I’m okay with all sorts of variations on Hylian ears, but please keep them smaller than, say, the character’s arms.
Photosensitive eyestrain.
I can’t handle animation with bright flashes or camera shakes.
Cursive handwriting.
This is my own fault, but I have trouble reading cursive.
Thanks for understanding!
If you’d like to get a sense of my taste, I post my drawings as Rynling on Tumblr and reblog art as Pocketseizure, but I appreciate many different styles of visual art, as well as artists of all skill levels.
Thank you again for volunteering to share your artwork. I hope you have a marvelous time, and I can’t wait to see what you create. <3
