I need to log off and touch trees

I love writing about other people's adventures, but I'm not an adventure person myself. My idea of a good adventure is taking a nice drive to a nice place and having a nice meal.
I guess I indulge in what might be charitably called "urban exploration," but that's not really an adventure. I live in Philadelphia, and Philadelphia is just, you know. Like that. "Urban exploration" is just taking a quiet walk with some indoor segments.
But I don't know. The weather is nice, and doing an easy, no-pressure zipline course in the small forested area north of Fairmount Park might be fun. Is ziplining fun? Because it looks super fun.
ETA: I decided not to think about this too hard and grabbed some friends to go ziplining with me. It was indeed super fun.

Date: 2025-10-30 10:04 am (UTC)Hell yeah, ziplining <3 I remember being so scared to get on one at 13-14, but I soon found out that nothing beats the rush of going whizzing through the woods at high speeds, lol.

It's really cool to know that the "going fast" parts of ziplining are actually enjoyable. I needed to hear that - thank you!!
