It's a bad photo, and I did a lazy job putting on the fairy lights, but this is a nice thing to have in the house. It smells lovely, and the light is legit bright enough to read by. Fucking magical.
Honestly fairy lights bring so much joy. In my next place* I'm totally going to put some up and leave them year round.
* (the reason this is not "do this here, now" is that I'm going to try to change my lease to another, larger apartment in the same building and if that'll be within 2 months then I might as well do the lights in the new place.)
