- I still haven’t written the ending, but I posted the first half of my Bowser/Luigi story on AO3 (here). There’s zero smut in this first chapter, which is just me having fun with the characters. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to come up with a decent title, but eh. C’est la vie.

- I think, in the end, there’s going to be exactly one paragraph of smut. This story is more of an adult-themed comedy than actual pornography. And that’s cool.

- I really liked a certain prompt for [profile] candyheartsexchange, so I finished one more treat story. I’m all about short + Gen + friendship stories, and I feel like this exchange was bespoke made for me personally. I wish I could contribute more, but I’m the slowest writer in the world, unfortunately.

- This week’s post on my book review blog (here) is about Bone Ash, a supernatural horror mystery novel about a cursed highrise construction site in Tokyo. I found this book while doing research on underground “calamity sealing” shrines, and it takes the concept and runs with it. The plot falls off in the second half, but the first half is really good.

- I want to share a sweet and lovely Valentine’s Day commission of Ms. Hornet Silksong and her toxic yuri girlfriend Lace by Catarium, who has been serving delicious food to the fandom since before the game came out. The illustration is (here) on Tumblr, and Catarium’s commissions post is (here) if you’d like one of your own. Catarium is super friendly and works really quickly, so I definitely recommend snatching one of these if you’re interested.

- I made a pair of corgi stickers for the grad students who very kindly volunteered to take care of my dogs while I was in Toronto in January. I think they turned out pretty well, so I put the extras on Etsy (here). I’m not making any money from Etsy, so please send me a message if you’d like some!

- Wind Waker Ganondorf is coming along. Since I’m working on a 9yo laptop, Photoshop crashes if a document has too many layers, and I’m at the point where I have to create workarounds by means of doing different layer sets in different documents. That’s normal, I’m sure. In any case, the current WIP is (here).

- I finished my wisteria drawing and posted it on Tumblr (here). 🌿

Philadelphia city services completely ceased functioning during the snowstorm two weekends ago, so I spent most of my daylight free time this week shoveling snow and breaking up ice patches. I have nothing but love for my neighbors, but I kind of want to [redacted] City Hall at the moment. All this manual labor does make me feel like a lumberjack, though.
